This is a tool that lets you transfer data from Oracle databases to Excel sheets easily.
Withdata OracleToExcel is a tool to export Oracle data to Excel file. The configuration is done visually, so it’s quite easy to do with mouse clicks. Data to be exported can be from a database table or obtained through queries. It is equally easy to set it up. Data can be exported from multiple tables also at the same time. The export is done quickly and it is capable of handling both the Excel formats of the 2003 and 2007 versions. The progress is shown through estimated time. While you can export all the elements on the table, you can do it selectively too. On the export side you need to specify if the format is going to be XLS or XLSX. Session parameters can be saved so that similar transfers can be done by using the saved parameters.
User can specify if he wants one table into one file or one file in one sheet. You then specify the folder and number of records you are going to export to the sheet. To make things automatic, scheduled transfers via the command line can be done, which can reduce the hassles substantially. BLOBs and CLOBs are also handled. Logs collected during the export process tells you what happened, if something went wrong. If you are prone to download data from the corporate database and run analysis on them often for corporate decision making, then this could be a very handy tool and one that you need to evaluate.
